Small Lot Duplex

The proposed duplex scheme is located within a 90’x29’ small lot with no lane access.  The proposal aims to maximize the use of the site for the following project objectives:

 

1. Provide age in place and accessibility provisions that meet the family program;

 

2. Set in place rental provisions for future passive income while contributing to the middle-scale housing supply in the current housing crisis; and

 

3. Generate an exemplary residential prototype project with accessibility and pre-fabrication attributes that can be applied to similar small lots in Vancouver

 

The scheme includes accessibility features such as a residential elevator, front yard car space, and zero step interior-exterior transitions.
